I never liked Markdown because it was hard to read. But Markdown is the format of choice for many AI tools, so I used to convert Markdown files to DOCX just to review them. Now, with Telescopo Markdown Studio, I can stay in Markdown. No file conversions. Great visual formatting. It’s now one of my most-used apps.
As widespread as Markdown is, most people assume only coders use it. I had to open Markdown files in an IDE and click that darn Preview mode every time. I couldn’t use Obsidian because it would move the file into a vault! I just wanted to double-click any Markdown file and see it rendered with Mermaid diagrams, images, and more. Finally, someone made the best Markdown viewer and editor for non-coding use, and they’re rapidly improving it!
So far, this has been a godsend. I’ve been struggling to find an app that lets you write clean Markdown in a simple, well-designed interface. And the live preview is so, so useful to me as someone who’s fairly new to writing documentation in Markdown.
Search is quick and Enter jumps to the next hit. Shortcuts are everywhere and consistent. Tabs and multi-window support are excellent.
I am using Telescopo to read the Markdown files I am using LLMs to create. They look beautiful in this UI. Awesome job with this tool.
I’ve tried many Markdown editors, but this one stands out. It’s smooth, handles diagrams and math beautifully, and PDF export is excellent.
